A Perfect Storm

The relocation is now underway in earnest. We’ve taken possession of the house, so what seemed an academic exercise is now a slap-across-the-face reality.

Things normally taken for granted are completely disrupted- services to the existing property. Even internet is gone, so this is all being conducted via an iPad using a personal hotspot.

The shed may be pretty much shut down, but already the shed’s mark is being made. About 1.5 cubic metres of the approx 3 in total has been taken around (mostly tassie oak).

Of the tooling, one thing has arrived already, which really is a complete workshop in itself- in the sense that you don’t really need any other supporting tools for it to work. The Nova Comet II arrived, so at least I can make sawdust already!

Tomorrow is a big day- the main house contents relocation. Busy times.
