  1. There has been some question about the vac clamp, in that the claim is you need a large compressor to keep up with the air supply requirements.

    With a 40l direct drive air compressor (a cheapie), I can easily cope with a single clamp (ie 1 venturi), and can maintain 2 (ie 2 clamps, or 1 double sided clamp).

    Beyond that, I would start having doubts (although haven’t tested it yet).

    One thing to note is although there is a large rush of air when creating the vacuum, the supply requirements for maintaining the vacuum are significantly lower. The better the seal, the less air required. You can easily hear the difference when the vacuum is established (although perhaps not so well on the camera’s audio).
