Went to my new local Masters store today for the first time (opened during the week). Came out with my hands trying to cover my eyes, and ears at the same time, going “La La La La La La”. WAY to dangerous – too many shiny new tools, and perfectly straight lengths of timber (pine, oak, spotted gum, merbau), and shiny bolts and screws, and Bessey clamps and and and – way too dangerous for the wallet!
Now it may just be that new, honeymoon period thing, although I hope the standard is kept up. It may also be that thing where you can admire someone else’s shed, or tools, but you can only really feel like you can appreciate it when it is yours, otherwise your admiration is tainted with a feeling of regret. So now I have MY Masters, only 2 minutes from home….”Danger Will Robinson..Danger!”
