Episode 46 MagSwitch

Episode 46 MagSwitch
MagSwitch technology is a revelation in my workshop – changing how I work, the jigs I make, even influencing the decisions on major item acquisition.

  1. I thought this was an interesting enough video and those Magswitch units looked pretty interesting. But, wow are they expensive over here in the US. The 30mm “jig” magnet is over $50 USD, as is the basic “universal” featherboard. The 50mm Magswitch is nearly $100. I think these are cool, esp. the featherboards. But, those prices are hard to justify. Maybe good Christmas gifts for the woodworker who has everything (if that could ever be possible!)?
